Varsity Recap vs Estrella Foothills:
Poor outside shooting, free throw shooting and turnovers proved costly versus the then-undefeated Wolves. Despite hurting ourselves all night, we only trailed by 3 points heading into the 4th quarter. We would not get any closer and lost the game 34-42.

Haley Montano 17 pts, 9 rebs
Samyia Davis 9 pts, 13 rebs
Frosh/Soph Recap vs Mohave:

In our game against Mohave on Friday, the girls won 30 to 28. They were down 4 points with 4 minutes to go when Anaira Oritz made a basket to bring us within 2 points. Anaira then pulled down a big rebound that led to a layup to Monica Orozco to tie the game. Layla Patterson made a big shot to put us ahead with one minute left to win the game.  Leading scorer was Teagan Lindhe with 8 points. Jitza Miles and Gabby Gallegos both made their first 3 point shots of the season.
Varsity Recap vs Mohave:
It was a big matchup on Friday night with the #19 Scorpions hosting the #14 Thunderbirds, who featured the 6th leading scorer (22 ppg) in the state. It was a bit of a wild game and the Scorpions came out on top 47-34. Haley Montano had a monster game for DE, scoring 27 points and pulling down 12 rebounds. Samyia Davis also tallied 12 rebounds.
