Sliding to a State Game!

Varsity won at Agua Fria on Tuesday 3-1. We were tied going into the 7th inning, when Brandi Peterson started the inning off in the top of the 7th with a double to left. With two outs and runners on first and second, Annie Samaniego, on a full count, doubled to right center scoring two.

Cool Nights for DE Softball

3/7/2017 The varsity softball team won both of their Apollo Cool Nights tournament games on Tuesday against two good teams, beating Valley Vista 8-5 and North Pointe Prep 3-0. Valley Vista was a team effort scoring 7 runs in the bottom of the third to put DE ahead for good. 7 different players got base

3 Level Softball Sweep

The Softball Program had another 3 level sweep yesterday against Central H.S. The Varsity Softball Team defeated Central H.S. 24-0 in 6 innings.  Ambria Dorsey and Zoe Zoellner combined for a 1 hit shutout only allowing 2 base runners.  Freshman Brandi Peterson hit a Grand Slam over center field to notch her first Home Run

Softball Kick-off

The Varsity Softball Team Defeated Tolleson 14-4 yesterday in its first power point game!  Ambria Dorsey led the way on the mound going all 6 innings and striking out 7.   Natalie Marchese and Courtney Espinoza were both 3-4 on the day with multiple extra base hits and RBI’s.  The team returns to action today
